As a child, I took many trips to the Smoky Mountains with my parents, and it's just one of my most favorite places to be! So, of course, once I had children, it was necessary for my husband & I to bring them there and let them enjoy all that the Smokies has to offer. Now, both of my children are grown up and married, with their own families. This photo is from our evacuation, after Hurricane Katrina. It was both our Grandson's AND Son in Law's first trip to the Smokies, hopefully, one of many!!! My son is still working on taking his family there for their first trip.
